Who Is This Course Suitable For?
This course is intended for all seagoing personnel who need to be able to practice emergency first aid on board a commercial ship or superyacht. It comprises the knowledge required in STCW 95 Table A-VI/1-3 and provides an introduction to the principles of First Aid.

What Will I Learn During the STCW Elementary First Aid Course?
You will learn basic skills to deal with injuries at sea and ashore. The Content for this course includes:
- Dealing with an emergency
- Priorities of treatment
- Casualty transport
- Drowning
- Basic life support (CPR)
- Shock management
- Bandaging
- Wounds and bleeding
- Burns and scalds
- How to get help at sea
What’s Included on The Course?
When registering for STCW Elementary First Aid training with us, you will receive a course manual and use of all equipment on the course. In addition to this, refreshments will be included throughout the day and once successfully completed, each person will also receive certification of their qualification.
We can combine two courses for the price of one, offering a dual certification with a shore-based Emergency First Aid at Work qualification if required.
