What is Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an AED?
Did you know that following a cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR & AED defibrillation reduces a casualty’s chance of survival by 10%? Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the UK’s biggest killers, and yet statistics show that most of the British public are unaware of the life-saving difference they can make by performing CPR and defibrillation.
The Basic Life Support Course covers CPR & AED use. Gives you the confidence you can save a life. We will dispell the myths around CPR and using AEDs in the public or at work.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to recognise someone who is having a heart issue and the step to take to help them. Be able to give good effective CPR and how to use a defibrillator.
What is included in the price?
The price includes; Registration and Certification, refreshments throughout the course, a course manual to keep and use of all equipment on the course. We even supply a First aid kit for each person to take away.

Following completion of the training, successful participants will receive certification valid for one year.
How You Will Be Assessed
All our first aid courses are assessed by practical demonstration of skill by the student, as well as a multiple-choice examination.
