What is Level 3 Supervising Food Hygiene Safety Training?
The Level 3 Food Safety Training course is a nationally recognised qualification for people working, or planning to work, in the food catering industry.
The objective of the qualification is to educate learners in supervising food safety in a catering environment.

Successful learners will gain a strong understanding of the importance of Food Safety. This includes;
- correct food handling practices
- measures to reduce the risk of contamination.
- how food business operators can ensure compliance with food safety legislation
- the application and monitoring of good hygiene practice
- how to implement food safety management procedures
- the role of supervision in food safety management procedures.
On the course, you will also learn the importance of safety management procedures and the requirements for monitoring, recording and evaluating these procedures, food safety and the law, good food hygiene practice and the role of the supervisor in the catering environment.
