What is a Blended Paediatric First Aid Course?
Blended Paediatric first aid courses are designed specifically to administer specialised children’s first aid in the event of an emergency. In many cases, the appropriate response for a child can differ from an adult, and it’s important to understand the correct first aid to deliver to save lives. The course is split between online learning for 6 hrs and then face to face for 6 hours to conduct the practical elements and assessments.
You will be sent a link to the E-learning part of the course once you have booked your place. This part of the course has to be completed PRIOR to completing the face to face training day.
Who is the Course Suitable for?
Blended Paediatric First Aid Training courses are ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s First Aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide). It means only one day away from work as the theory is conducted in your own time at your pace. The online module must be completed prior to attending the face to face element.
