What is Immediate Life Support?

The Immediate Life Support Course (ILS) by Qualsafe is required to keep your First Response Emergency Care FREC 4 or Safe Administration of Lifesaving Medication qualification valid. This course can also be used by Health Care Professional staff to revalidate their ILS requirement. It is ideal for doctor’s surgeries and nursing staff, along with event medical staff needing to keep their FREC 4 qualification valid.

What will I learn?

The Qualsafe Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF) is a nationally recognised qualification is for those who have a responsibility at work, in the community or voluntary activities to provide emergency care to patients, such as event medical providers, emergency ambulance personnel, registered healthcare professionals and those working in specialist roles within the emergency services and military.

Successful candidates will develop their knowledge and skills in providing Immediate Life Support to patients in Cardio-Respiratory Arrest or experiencing life-threatening illness and injury.

What’s included in the price?

You MUST hold an in date FREC 4 qualification with proof of CPD or be a registered HCP to be eligible to attend this course.
