Our courses are a combination of practical and theory sessions. The equipment you use will be modern, plentiful and in good condition. We also have a shop, where you can purchase anything, you have used on the course.

First Aid Training

First Aid Training by Cornwall Training is about learning and practising basic lifesaving skills as well. It has been proven that simple interventions and basic treatments save lives. We impart the knowledge and skills to all our learners and focus on building confidence to deliver basic emergency care.

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out risk assessments, appointing a suitable amount of staff with appropriate First Aid training and equipment. However, having the correct first aid provision in the workplace is not just a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of all members of staff!

We pride ourselves on quality. So all our equipment is modern and in plentiful supply. So much so we actually sell equipment that we train with. Classrooms are comfortable and filled with natural lighting for your comfort.

First Aid Training courses

Our First Aid courses are a mixture of practical and theoretical sessions. Along with many other skills, you will have the knowledge and confidence to be able to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) by the end of the day!

For more details on each of the First Aid courses, click on the course for more information. The courses range from half a day to 5 days depending on your requirements. If you are not sure which course is right for you, then give us a call for a chat and advice about the courses that are available.

All prices are per person. The course is delivered at our training centre in St Austell. If you have a group of 6 people or more and a suitable training area, we can also deliver courses at your premises.

Training Venue

Our training centre is clean, safe, and spacious. Each training room has plenty of natural light, good ventilation along with free tea and coffee. Our training centre has been designed to make your experience with us as comfortable as possible. We have two training rooms, both fully equipped with everything needed to create an environment that is conducive to learning. Our training is not limited to our venue, if you have a suitable location and group of 6 or more learners, we will come to you.
