IOSH Managing Safely Refresher is a course designed for individuals who have previously completed the full IOSH Managing Safely course. It offers a recap of the key topics and updates on any changes in legislation or best practice. The course aims to reinforce good practice and help delegates apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. It is recommended that individuals take the refresher course every three years to ensure their understanding of health and safety management remains up to date. This course can be completed online or in-person and generally takes one day to complete.

What is IOSH Managing Safely Refresher?

The one-day Managing Safely Refresher course is for delegates who have already completed the full IOSH Managing Safely course. Nationally-recognised, respected and certificated managers and supervisors qualification

To be eligible to take the refresher course, they must do so within three years of completing their Managing Safely course.

What will I learn?

Delegates will be able to refresh their knowledge on the key parts of the full Managing Safely course. There is also a much greater emphasis on monitoring, auditing and reviewing, developed through two practical case studies. Efficient and effective learning – the course materials have been piloted to make sure they work in practice.
