What will I learn?
- Basic Moving and Handling to ensure that students are aware of their posture and potential risks.
- Basic Fire Safety Awareness to ensure the student has an awareness of why, when, and how to use the evac chair.
- A short session on design, use and limitation of the evac chair
- Practical sessions on safe use of Evac Chair including opportunities for students to be in the chair as well as use the chair, if the company has a bariatric chair, this will involve 2 chair users to 1 casualty, standard chairs work with a 1 chair user to 1 casualty as the norm.
