Asbestos NON-Licenced Removal Course
Who is Asbestos Training for?
The Asbestos NON-Licenced Removal course is for contractors in the construction industry who need to know the possible location of Asbestos based products and the action needed if Asbestos is found.
Every employer must make sure that anyone who is likely to disturb asbestos or who supervises those employees, is given information and training, so they can work safely without risk to themselves or others.
The type of information and training necessary
Workers and supervisors need to be able to recognise Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) and how to deal with them when found, to protect themselves and others.
The Asbestos NON-Licenced Removal Course is designed to give workers and supervisors the Information needed to avoid work that may disturb asbestos during normal work procedures where floors, walls and roofs are disturbed in a building or any other item which might contain asbestos.
The course does not prepare workers or self-employed contractors to carry out work with Asbestos Containing Materials. If a worker is planning to carry out work that will disturb ACMs, further information and training will be needed.
Non-licensed Asbestos Removal course
The course is designed for workers who undertake construction and/or demolition activities and whose work will involve knowingly disturbing asbestos. Other workers who would require this training are plumbers, carpenters, electricians, maintenance and demolition workers whose work will knowingly disturb ACM.
What’s included in the price?
The price includes all equipment, Registration and Certification, refreshments throughout the course, and course manuals to keep.
The course can be delivered at our training centre in St Austell. If you have a suitable area, we can also deliver at your premises. This would reduce training costs with no travel costs for your employees.
