This short course explains the following

  • the term ‘manual handling’ and what it covers
  • manual handling injuries
  • employees’ responsibilities
  • the LITE stairway to safety
  • safe lifting techniques

The course is designed as a short refresher for all staff to understand the hazards of manual handling
