GIG Safety Kit
The GIG safety bag has been designed to provide rowers with the safety equipment needed on board in an emergency afloat.
The bag is a 30L dry bag with the ability to have the boat’s name on the outside, so it is easy to identify if multiple bags are in use.
The GIG safety bag contains:
- GIG First Aid Kit in waterproof 5L dry bag
- Additional exposure equipment of survival bags and foil blankets
- Odeo LED Distress Flare – with Lithium Batteries
There is also space in the bag to add some lifejackets or food
With the bags being waterproof, they will float (if rolled down correctly) in case of a capsize, so all your safety kit stays available.
