FREC First Response Emergency Care Level 3

20170804_064608722_iOSThe QA Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (QCF) qualification is specifically designed for those seeking a career in the emergency services, ambulance services, the event medical sector or those who work in high risk workplaces.

Successful candidates will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be able to deal with a wide range of prehospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airway; catastrophic bleeding; management of fractures; medical emergencies and many more!

The full course is 5 days for people with no previous qualifications in first aid

Our up-skill course is 3 days and is available if you hold prior qualifications, i.e FPOSI, (please call to discuss your entry route qualifications)

The Level 3 award is split into three units which all have to be completed and passed before certification.

  • Unit 1  First Response Emergency Care
  • Unit 2 First Response Emergency care in Trauma
  • Unit 3 First Response Emergency Care in Medical Conditions
  • Practical assessments/skills tests – observed by the Trainer throughout the course, with the results of each learning outcome recorded on the practical assessment paperwork
