What is First Response Emergency Care FREC?

The First Response Emergency Care FREC courses are delivered here in Cornwall. The suite of qualifications gives a vocational route to becoming a paramedic. Our trainers deliver a hands-on practical course, with the use of realistic environments and live casualties, giving you a fully immersive experience. What will I learn?

The Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care is a 5-day course and is for those seeking a career in the emergency services, ambulance services, the event medical sector or those who work in high-risk workplaces.

Successful learners will gain the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to be able to deal with a wide range of Pre-Hospital Care Emergencies. Such as; managing a patient’s airway, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies, ECG recognition, Major Incident work, Digestive and Reproductive systems, and much, much more.

Once you have successfully completed the course, (which is not guaranteed), we will offer paid work on our event medical team CTC Medical Services

You MUST hold a First Response Emergency Care FREC 3 qualification to be eligible to attend this course. Proof will need to be supplied of your First Response Emergency Care FREC 3 certificate
