Apprenticeships Cornwall

At Cornwall Training our apprenticeships are for anyone over the age of 16 and our training programmes typically last between 12–18 months.  Apprentices can be new or existing staff who want to develop new skills or change job roles. The apprenticeship entails both on and off the job training.

  • Find and select an organisation that offers the apprenticeship (us!).
  • Checking what funding is available to cover training costs, and agree with your provider.
  • Advertise your apprenticeship vacancy. (We can help with this free of charge)
  • Select your apprentice

Cornwall Training provide apprenticeships in;

The Cornwall Training apprenticeships offer you an opportunity to learn new skills and gain a recognized qualification whilst you work. Meaning that you learn while you earn.

Our apprentices will gain the additional qualifications at no extra cost, these include:

All apprenticeships are paid at a minimum rate and you will be expected to work for a minimum of 30 hours a week, this includes the time you spend off-site learning on courses or at the training provider.

You will spend most of your time within your workplace and the rest of your training will be provided by the training provider or workplace normally on a one day per week basis, although variations could apply depending on the programme.

There is no upper age limit to become an apprentice but you need to be at least 16.
